TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTIES

By booking a party you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Included in the price are; ingredients, aprons, baking and crafting equipment, table cloths, floor covers, certificates for all children invitations, a special gift for the birthday child/ren.

Payment:

The required agreed deposit is to be paid within 3 days of booking to secure booking.

The party balance is to be paid at least 7 days before the party date.

Booking confirmation will be provided upon receipt of deposit and again after full balance payment.

We accept payment via: bank transfer, cash or cheque (which would require payment 2 weeks prior to the date to allow full clearance)

Cancellation of parties

The agreed cost of the party as set out in the booking confirmation is payable for the agreed number of attendees. If there are fewer attendees on the day of the party this full price is still payable, this number is what we base our ingredients and crafting materials around. This also applies for any agreed add on's.

In the event of illness/cancellation a minimum of a full 24hours notice is required. We would first look to rebook. If this is not possible, providing a notice period of longer than 7 days, a refund of 75% of total will be given. In the event of less than 7 days’ notice 50% of the balance may not be refunded, this will act as administrative and compensation costs. In the unlikely even Make and Bake cancels a party, we will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative within a reasonable period of time or a full refund will be given.

Changes

If you wish to make changes to the theme of the party or the Makes or Bakes a minimum of 7 days’ notice is required.

Health and safety

Sensible clothing and footwear are essential. Our parties’ are hands on and all participants are required to have adult supervision and assistance (where required) outside of that given by Make and Bake staff. Personal loss, injury, damage, neglect or involvement of or by you or any other party attendee will not be the liability of Make and Bake.

Special health allergy and dietary requirements

We are happy to discuss party content with you to ensure you are fully happy with the chosen theme and party content. If there are any allergies please let us know in writing in advance so we can discuss these. Please note attendance is at own risk. If we have not been informed of allergies in advance this may unfortunately lead to exclusion from certain activities, for safety reasons.
